1. Wins Chart
2. All drills in practice should have wins. From simple skill drills, to team drills, these are charted daily. An award (Wins Belt) is handed out at the end of each practice to the player with the most Wins.
3. Not only does this make drills more competitive, but it also motivates players!
4. Effort Chart
5. Effort can be controlled by players. So if you want great effort, chart what you are looking for from players. Hustle plays, taking charges, communication, coaching up others etc. An award (Oar) is handed out at the end of practice to the player with the most effort points!
6. Learn how to chart whatever key areas of Effort you emphasize with your team!

Coaches are always looking for an edge, and one simple "trick" to get more from every drill is overloading. Overloading maximizes the impact of each practice by focusing on multiple areas of development at once.
